Sue Stein

Sue Stein grew up on a rural acreage in Minnesota, returning there to live after inheriting the property. She was excited to become a hobby farmer. Now she knows better.

Sue is the author of three books about life on her hobby farm with her mini horses, Donald the goat, llama, alpacas, chickens, cats, and dogs. Not to mention the predators like coyotes and bobcats. Each day brought a new measure of mayhem resulting in more grey hair.

Her first book, “Amuck,” came about after numerous panicked emails to her friends, describing the newest stuff to hit the hobby farm fan. An editor friend said, "You need to write a book about all of this!" Three books later, along with a haiku poetry/nature photography book, things have finally simmered down a bit on the hobby farm front.
