From the first time I picked up a crayon, I was hooked on writing. I always wanted to be an author, but I took a short (36 year) detour through the educational system working with middle schoolers. As a teacher, I won many awards, presented at conferences all over the US, and entertained my learners by making learning interesting, challenging, and fun. Learning, like reading, is personal. I loved helping learners lose themselves in their work, just as I love giving readers the opportunity to lose themselves in a book. So, grab a book and read, love, and enjoy!
