Lisa M. Bolt Simons

Lisa M. Bolt Simons has published 70 nonfiction and fiction children's books and middle grade novels, as well as an adult history title; more books are forthcoming. She’s received several accolades for both her nonfiction and fiction, including twice receiving an Honorable Mention for the McKnight Artist Fellowship for Writers in Children's Literature and three Minnesota State Arts Board grants. Originally from Colorado, she currently resides in a Minnesota town of 140ish. She's mom to adult twins, Jeri and Anthony, and is a wife to a book-loving, outdoorsy guy.
