Jennifer Schultz

Jennifer Schultz is the author of The Shaka Reed Series of supernatural thrillers.

While growing up in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, she spent many hours reading the works of H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury, Margaret Atwood and Stephen King, drawn not only to their mystical and ominous plots, but also to their examination of the emotional depths of the human condition.

​The influence of these writers and others give strength to her unique voice, where the mysterious and inexplicable are coupled with a deep appreciation for nature, especially the Minnesota forests that she knows best.

​In addition to being a writer, Jennifer is a registered nurse. In her free time, she likes to explore the wilderness, be it on snowshoes, in a kayak, or on a hiking trail.
