Chris Norbury
Chris Norbury is the award-winning author of the mystery-suspense-thrillers Straight River, Castle Danger, and Dangerous Straits. The stories feature Matt Lanier, a southern Minnesota farm-kid-turned-professional-musician. His middle-class world is turned upside down when he uncovers a conspiracy led by a group of powerful, ambitious, violent men.
His newest novel, Little Mountain, Big Trouble, was published in 2023. It’s a heartwarming coming-of-age adventure whose main character is a twelve-year-old boy in the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program who goes on the adventure of his young life with his Big Brother. Written for middle-grade readers, Little Mountain, Big Trouble can also be enjoyed by older readers.
Chris is a member of both the Twin Cities and national chapters of Sisters in Crime. He also belongs to the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi). Chris donates a portion of all book sales to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota. He lives in southern Minnesota with his wife and golf clubs.
